Although we try to avoid political posts here at Devil May Care (unlike my previous blog), sometimes I wander across something just too good to resist, such as this picture that we took on August 28 in a cafe in Baños, Ecuador.

From Cafe Blah Blah, Baños, Ecuador

Some context, after the jump....

There really isn't anything political about Cafe Blah Blah. It's a tourist snack spot crammed into about one hundred square feet, with every wall covered in posters, art and other paraphernalia. Their cappuccino tasted a bit burnt, but they made tasty sandwiches and superlative juices and shakes. Dominating the main wall, however, is the iconic HOPE poster with the cafe's logo replacing the Obama campaign's circle. I don't think the mixing of messages was intended.

Indeed, it appears that they didn't get the memo about not putting President Obama's image next to Che's:
And to be fair, there's a lot of Che imagery in Ecuador, selling just about anything.

More on the great time we had in Baños later.
